My Altered Book....

Heyyy there !! remember when i said that while i didn't have my car last week, i wanted to make it productive and did some few bits... well... this is one of them.  2 years ago, i went to a w-end workshop with the amaaazing and talented artist JOY BATHIE to learn few techniques on altered book and... while at the end, the book looked like nothing...just few techniques, few paints splatted on some pages... i.... FINALLY... took the time to do something about it, to finish quite few pages and ...oh boyyy.... was i proud of myself !!! Not only bcos it was one of my to-do list but...geeee !!!  i had suuuuuuch a good time doing this... i felt like.... an aaaartist !!  okayyyy, i'll post only couple of pages only... the rest might come in another post ... maybe.  I suddenly feel with this book... it's not like my scrapbooking.... it's almost... private...personal... bcos it's expressing myself freely, it's... exposing ME.  Don't ask me why i feel this way.... very strange....  and also THANK YOU SHARMAINE of http://skruijver.blogspot.com/ bcos everytime you posted something about your ART JOURNAL, it inspired me and in some ways.. reminded me that i had to continue/to do my own altered book.  Anyway, hope you'll enjoy and let me know what ya think !!

Coucou vous tous et toutes !! souvenez-vous lorsque je disais que pendant que je n'avais plus ma voiture la semaine derniere, je voulais que ce soit des journees productives et que je faisais qlqs trucs a droite a gauche ... ben.... voici un de mes projets.  C;etait il y a 2 ans de la, j'etais allee a un atelier un week-end avec l'incroyaaaable et talentueuse JOY BATHIE pour apprendre quelques techniques sur les livres altere's.. et .. malgre' que a la fin, ce livre avait l'air de rien parce qu'il n'etait pas fini, juste quelques techniques, qlq peintures applique'es sur des pages ... et bien... j'ai ENFIN pris le temps de le continuer et de meme presque finir qlqs pages et ... waouhhhhhhhhhhh ... comme j'etais fiere de moi !! je poste qlqs pages seulement, le reste.... heuuu... peut-etre plutard.  Avec ce livre, je sens que c'est different... pas comme le scrap... c'est presque comme ci c'etait.... prive'... personel... certainement parce que je m'exprime librement... differemment.... c'est un peu comme... m'exhiber.  Ne me demandez pas pourquoi je le sens de cette maniere... tres bizarre hein ???  (En tous cas un tit merci a SHARMAINE de http://skruijver.blogspot.com/ a chq fois qu'elle postait son ART Journal, cela me rappelait et m'inspirait de le faire.  Bref... j'espere que vous aimerez et que vous me direz ce que vous en pensez !!!

.....here... i used some Lumieres paints, then applied some Texture paste and waited to dry a bit then.. stamped on the Texture paste

(this photo was taken in error, i must have put the setting on 'Macro' but... i'm glad i took it and also printed by mistake !!) (cette foto a ete' prise par erreur ...j'ai du mettre sur le reglage 'Macro' et...suis contente de l'avoir pris et...meme imprime' par erreur !)

Anyway.... hope you have a good end of the week since... it's already friday tomorrow.  We're going to be Xtremely busy soon, since.... it's going to be EASTER long week-end, then... Nicky's turning 8 YEARS OLD !!! then i've got a couple of girlfriends coming from overseas for few days and we'll head off to see Celine Dion Concert ect... yes...very busy indeed !!  Anyway... will keep you posted... Et bien... j'espere que vous passez une tres bonne fin de semaine... puisque demain c'est deja vendredi.  On va etre Xtremement 'busy' bientot puisque... c'est bientot le week-end de Paques, ensuite...Nicky fete ces 8ANS DEJA !!! ainsi que mes 2 copines arrivent de Noumea pour qlqs jours ou on ira tous voir le concert de Celine Dion  ect... oui... tres tres chrge' comme programme.  Bref... je vous tiendrais au courant et...Passez un bon week-end !! :)

Mais dis donc .. J'en veux plus !! C'est pas suffisant !!!!! mais c'est vrai ce que tu dis que faire un journal sur soi c'est plus intime et donc moins montrable.
En tout ton mixed media et ton lachage de style: c'est pas mal
