TUTORIAL (Pas-a-pas): Scallop card

oh maaaaaaaaan !!!!!!!! is this cold here or what ... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! they have predicted the snow but... to my kids disappointment.... nothing is happening !! it's sooo cold that not only i wear my socks but my slippers (i would even sleep with my slippers in bed :))))

anyway.... getting through the 1st week of schoolholiday... phewwwwwww !! busy busy !! i splurged in Penrith last wed. :(  but hey.... just for me huh ?? and had few of Anais's friends over, then this morning had my 1st kids w'shop !! it was fun but very demanding even with only 4 kids !!  but i'll do it again, it's so good to see kids enjoying themselves and creating beautiful stuffs :)

And on a Creative level... well...nothing much yet however... i'm posting this cool tutorial there !! Pauline (a lady at our craft group) showed it to me briefly BUT i mastered it and 'perfectered it' with my friend SusanG how to make a scallop card.  Okay okay... it's been done before but i FINALLY bought my round-corner punch (i already had one BUT i had to get one with the removable bit ) to do this !! so... wanna check it out below???

ouhhh wouahhhh !! il fait froid ou quoi !!!!!!!!! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !! ils ont prevu la neige depuis qlqs jours mais.... au desespoir de mes enfants.... niet !!  il fait tellement froid que... meme avec mes cho7, il fo en + que je mette mes pantoufles (ahhh je mettrais meme mes pantoufles au lit hehehe !!!!)

Sinon.... on passe par une semaine de vacances scolaires bien chargee... pffffff je dirais meme super chargeee !! J'ai meme pu faire un peu de shoppping...rien que pour moi...ben ouais de temps en temps hein ??? et puis ensuite des copines de Anais sont venue a la maison jouer, et ce matin mon tout 1er atelier de carterie pour enfants.  C'etait super mais alors...qd meme avec 4 filles, c'etait du boulot !! mais c'est a refaire, c'est super de voir le cote' creatif des enfants, c'est trop mignon !!

Bon sinon sur un Nivo creatif, je vous poste ce Pas-a-pas d'une carte en 'scallop'. Pauline (une scropine de mon group creatif m'a montre' brievement comment la faire mais en fait, c'est ma copine SusanG qui m'a aide' a la perfectionner.  Je sais, je sais...c'est une vieille technique mais...comme je viens enfin d'acheter mon punch (j'en avais deja un mais il me fallait un avec le dessous qui s'enleve pour pouvoir faire cette carte !! hehehe ben oui...fo du bon matos pour faire de belles choses hein ?? ahhh l'excuse :) hehehe !!!..je vous laisse regarder les etapes en fotos ==>

<=== STEP 1: that's the roundcorner punch i'm talking about !! just slide-off the bottom bit, and you're ready !!  (c'est ce roundcorner dont je parle !! il fo enlever le bout de dessous et.... vous etes pretes !!)

... STEP 2: just to show a little bit closer here !! (juste pour montrer de pres ici !!)

.... starting to take shape here :)   (ca commence a prendre une forme deja !! :)

.... STEP 3: wanna add some fancy touch ? just punch a hole on each scallop :)   (vous voulez rajouter une touche plus rafinee ? faire un trou simple dans chaque rond:)

.... STEP 4: add a contrasting colour paper as an insert..... (rajouter un papier avec une couleur contraste a l'interieure de la carte...

and VOILA !!!!!!!!!!!!! 

... so ?? what do ya think ??

anyway... got to go... have another busy day tomorrow... i'm having Sian, Mel and SusanG at my place tomorrow for lunch !!Fantastic opportunity to see those girls again !! Sian turned 21 last week, and it will be Mel and Susan's birthday next week !! an opportunity to invite them 3 huh ?? got to go...hope you have a great week :)

bon okay..fo que j'y aille...une autre journee en prevision pour demain...j'ai invite' ma copine Sian ainsi que Mel et SusanG demain a la maison.  Sian a fete' ses 21ans la semaine derniere et ca sera l'anniv. de Mel et Susan la semaine prochaine alors une occasion de les inviter tts les 3 en un seul coup !!
